About Us
Beginning in 1980 as a single group home serving 12 adults with developmental disabilities, Catholic Charities Community Services has grown to be a multi-disciplinary human service agency providing long-term supports to persons with
- developmental disabilities,
- traumatic brain injuries,
- HIV/AIDS disease and
- those with disabilities who are seeking an alternative to nursing home placement.
In the tradition of the Charities movement around the world, today's staff of 200 deliver professional assistance in a compassionate manner to over 600 agency clients and their family members, all of whom live within the boundaries of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester, NY.
We offer our services to all, with special interest in the neediest among us, so that our work will acknowledge each individual's self-worth and allow each to live with dignity as a person of God.
