Stepping Stones to Employment

Catholic Charities Community Services has been honored to receive a grant from The Community Foundation through the DD Giving Circle to implement Stepping Stones to Employment. This program is designed to engage individuals with little to no work experience. The program runs for 6-8 weeks and covers a variety of topics including computer basics, work place communication, transportation training, benefits advisement, and others as needed. Throughout the course of Stepping Stones to Employment, staff will support the individual in applying to long-term employment programs such as ETP or SEMP.

The Employment Training Program (ETP) at Catholic Charities Community Services is an internship-based program through Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the local Developmental Disabilities Regional Office (DDRO).
