Every day, 138 people in the United States die from injuries that can include a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Those who survive a TBI or severe concussion can face disabling effects that can last from just a few days to an entire lifetime.

Join Catholic Charities Community Services as we celebrate 20 years of serving this fragile population and others, and shine a light on the cause, effect and treatment of TBI and concussions at our signature friend-raising event, Breakfast With Friends.

Featuring Dr. Bennet Omalu, portrayed by Will Smith in the movie Concussion

Dr. Omalu’s in-depth knowledge of CTE, TBI, and concussions, and his continued dedication to research and publicity, will help event attendees better understand these critical medical concerns.

This year’s Breakfast With Friends features three events will help promote community awareness for this critical health concern and to financially support the great work of Catholic Charities Community Services.
