Adjusting to life with a TBI is difficult for the TBI survivor, family and friends. Our compassionate and highly trained counselors work one on one to assist clients in coping with the changes in their lives since sustaining brain injuries. They address the complex issues of loss, re-learning skills, regulating emotions, coping with the cognitive and physical effects of TBI and acceptance. Counselors also conduct assessments, assist individuals with goal setting and develop strategies to reach the individual’s goals.

Our counselors also work with family members and friends of the TBI survivor to help them adjust to their loved one’s brain injury. Support for family, friends and the individual helps to ensure that TBI survivors re-enter their communities with the supports they need to live safely, successfully and independently.
